Roger Smith

Roger Smith is a retired engineer and native of Michigan and graduate of Michigan Tech. He has been a property owner in south Newcastle for over 25 years and a full-time resident since 2020. Prior to moving to Newcastle, he lived in Loomis for 20 years and was active in town affairs.

In his retirement, he and his wife, Irene, stay busy running their nonprofit, FAWN (Friends Aiding Wildlife In Nature), with the goal of removing obsolete fencing for the safety and mobility of wildlife.
